"Bay Burger"...Making Me Wish I Never Got Full

This was my lunch today at Bay Burger. For anyone who doesn't know my brother Joe and his wife Liza own Bay Burger, a classic burger joint in Sag Harbor, NY. Today I changed up the norm and went for a burger with both cheddar and Swiss cheese, mayo and extra pickles. Usually I go for the "Standard" with everything, but I wanted to especially taste the pickles today, and ohh, did I!

I also got a hot dog, an all beef Hebrew National dog that was on a fresh baked bun and very delicious. Then I added the necessary Fry & Tot Mix to finish off a ridiculously filling lunch. I mean...friggin TOTS!!!

I should also mention that I had about 3 16 oz beers, naturally.

This pic is a close up of how much cheese there was on this burger...ohhh yeah, can you say YUM!!!.

"Tacourt", Serving The Best Mexican Food in Brockton, MA...Period.

This plate being served up from Victor is basically a burrito on a plate, minus the tortilla. It has chicken, re-fied beans, pinto beans (there is never enough beans), cheese, lettuce, rice, sour cream, hot sauce and guacamole. Basically heaven on a plate.

This next pic is a picture of the BBQ Chicken and Cheese Quesadilla I had for lunch the other day. It was perfectly made, as you would expect from Tacourt. I added onions and peppers to this one on a tomato tortilla. I addded some pica de gallo and sour cream on the side.

Get The Milk Ready! Petti's Market Chocolate Chip Cookie

This chocolate chip cookie is amazing. I can't begin to explain how unreal this cookie is. It is soft warm and perfectly baked. It has chocolate chips, nuts and big brown sugar globs...hungry yet?

It was even cooler to get this cookie hyped up from the owner Matt, and he explained to me what the secret ingredient is. I cannot disclose what the ingredient is, and no...you will NEVER guess what it is.

It was so big that after eating a burger for lunch I had to stop half way and save the second half for a few hours later at work. I couldn't wait long as I am about to eat the rest of it as I wait for the elevator at my work only 15 minutes after I said I will save it for later.

Its to hard to resist this one...it's awesome!

My Newest Favorite Breakfast

I love, and I mean, love this breakfast. I cannot believe that I did not know until this past Sunday that I could walk in to "Life's a Bagel" in Canton, and walk out with a brown bag containing paradise for my mouth.

This is an egg onion bagel toasted with scallion cream cheese, lox, tomatoes and onions. I challenge any other bagel establishment to create a more delicious bagel, cream cheese and lox sandwich.

Nisha's Rice Krispie Treats

So these were made by Nisha when Adam, Lori and I visited The Gillis's recently. It was a great surprise to arrive and have fresh baked rice krispie treats! I should also mention she made half of them with peanut butter too.

Hungry yet? This is when you start to drool...it's ok.

The "Boiled Dinner"...A Classic.

If you are Irish I bet you have eaten some variation of this meal. The "Boiled Dinner" has been something I have enjoyed my whole life. This particular Boiled dinner was without question one of the better ones I have had because of the cut of Corned Beef, this version being a "flat" cut.

I like how simple this meal is...corned beef, potatoes, carrots, cabbage and onions. They are boiled together creating a delicious, salty, meaty water...OK, so maybe the water isn't "meaty", but it's awesome. I would drink this broth by the gallon if it was socially acceptable.

This is probably one of my favorite comfort foods that I can think of.

Meat...it's the rage!

Pettis Market Scores again!!! This ridiculously huge roast beef sandwich is very good...period. Some of the leanest, freshest roast beef, I've ever eaten. The bread is very hearty and every thing else was crisp and cold.

Overall, Pettis Market scores big points again with a delicious classic sandwich.
Looks like Georgios Roast Beef Sandwich which is an earlier entry in this blog has some compitition.

Then there is "The Big Papi" from The Main Course, in Canton. This is an insane Italian cold cut sandwich. This sandwich has so much meat in in it, I nearly cracked my jaw trying to get an actual bite of it.

Genoa Salami, Capicola, Mortadella, Fresh Mozzarella, Pesto on Ciabatta bread.

Ridiculous!

Petti's Market Turkey & Avocado Sandwich

This Turkey and Avocado sandwich is not only wicked delicious but it is very healthy. The turkey, avocado and bread were all very fresh. The Swiss cheese was nice, the lettuce was crisp and tomato was juicy. The pickle on the side well lets be honest...it was perfect too.

Overall, it was a really good and healthy sandwich.

Brockton's Best Roast Beef Sandwich - From Georgios.

OK, so this Roast Beef sandwich is simply ridiculous!
The onion roll is decent, especially if you get it toasted. All the condiments and veggies are fresh, crisp and cold. The beef is especially good...although you have to know that it is shredded. The beef is very soft and delicious.

Overall this is a wicked awesome sandwich!!!
